Imogene Allen Williamson

SAVANNAH – Imogene Allen Williamson, 90, widow of the late Lowell Franklin Williamson, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Hospice House, surrounded by her family.
The Paris, TN native had lived in Savannah since 1945. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and was a longtime member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children, Lowell A. Williamson and his wife, Marie, of Blackshear, GA, G. David Williamson and his wife, Kay, of Snellville, GA, and Jeanine W. Jones and her husband, Harvey, of Savannah; a sister, Luzelle Allen Haskins of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Lori and Willis Milner, Amy and Dave Larimer, David C. Williamson and Glen A. Williamson; and five great-grandchildren, Trace Larimer, Georgia Marie Larimer, Savannah Milner, Abby Milner, and Will Milner. She is also survived by a sister-in-law and her husband, Christine and Arlon Dale of Naples, FL; several cousins; a niece and a nephew.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Meguiar officiating.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Don Spence, Al Ferguson, Reggie Powers, Joe Nielubowicz, Dave Larimer, and Willis Milner.
